fractious reactions

Parenting is just an amazing thing! It’s kind of a journey where you learn so much about relationships, yourself, and life. I’ve discovered that there aren’t any perfect parents! Who knew? I know I’m certainly not a perfect parent. I’ve also discovered that parenting is not easy. There have been many moments where I wished that I had a snappy answer for a parenting dilemma. Snappy answers don’t really exist. Snappy answers only lead to more eye roles, groans, and fractious reactions. Snappy answers aren’t really answers at all. Sometimes it almost seems like there is a hope leak when it comes to parenting. I believe the key is when we help our kids become relationship rich not just experience rich. People need experiences. Kids need experiences, but it’s the relationships along the way that make those experiences real. What are you doing as a parent to help your kids build and maintain key relationships in their lives? That’s where real parenting hope begins.
