Thanks Kids
I recently put together a talk where I needed the help of my kids. I wanted to use them in a media piece where I would share some of my hopes and dreams for them. I booked my favorite camera guy. Got the family ready and...big rain. Buckets of it were falling from the sky. It was amazing. So, take two with more hair spray and make-up! Here’s the finished product. A big thanks to my kids. You guys are amazing. I’m a happy father.

I was trying to convey these very thoughts to my daughter, Rebekah, when she was about 8 years old. At that time in her life, disobedience was a real problem for her. I had taken the time to explain very carefully that there will always be authority in our lives, whether it's a parent, a boss, or even a husband. That's when she told me that she wanted to be a nun!
