Clarice & Reaghann

Clarice and Reaghann. Clarice is my daughter and Reaghann is my niece. They're great friends even though they don't live that close to each other anymore. They've had the chance for the past seven days to spend every moment together. They're fun to watch.They're oblivious to the fact that in a few moments, they will separate and not see each other for a few months. They laugh. They plan. They talk as if time stands still...enjoying every moment as if it will last indefinitely. They enjoy their time together (really enjoy). I find myself not always tuned into the people around me. Know what I mean? There's always the next thing to do...the next challenge to embrace...the next mountain to climb. I wish I was more like Clarice. Slow down. Appreciate those next to you. Enjoy the moment.
